I absolutely LOVE this little book cover. The PICK is perfect and the image brings back many bitter sweet memories of my childhood. I remember my mom trying to untangle my hair . . . boy was that painful! My mom had baby fine hair while I have naturally curly hair and my sister has very course hair. My poor mother had to adjust to the texture of our hair. My sister and I spent our childhood with our hair braided! As I grew older I learned to use the pick to gently untangle my own curls! Great with your book! I may just copy your idea!
In our monthly book club, we get a kit full of products that we take home and play with. For this month, I lifted an idea from this month's book-of-the-month (The Me Book) and created this mini book about the hair styles I've worn over the years. I tied the fibers on the binder rings to represent what my hair looks like in the morning. Since, like most women, I've changed my hair styles every couple of years, I could only fit a few in. Maybe I'll do a "part 2" another time.
