Don't we all have days when we feel like the hydrant? LOL

I wanted to make a whimsical card that would hopefully uplift the spirits of the recipient, who is a dog lover.

I started with Bristol Paper as the card front. I first stamped out the pup and hydrant from the My Favorite Things You Make My Tail Wag stamp set and then masked them off with post-it note masks I made by fussy cutting out second generation stamped images of the same. Then I stamped the brick background with the same ink because I wanted the stamping to be water-proof for watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I free-hand watercolored the pee-rainbow. LOL

For the sentiment, I stamped out the sentiment, "Some days you're the dog. Some days you're the hydrant." with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Powder.

I intentionally kept everything else black and white so that just the rainbow would be in full, brilliant color.
