"Former Oakland Raiders/Kansas City Chiefs football star who rose to prominence as one of the first African-American male action stars of the "blaxploitation" genre of the early 1970s, who has since gone on to a long and illustrious career as an actor, director, writer, and producer! He has kept actively busy in movies and TV for over three decades, both in front of and behind the camera. Most recently he was cast as a Vampire Killing Biker in "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1996) and as grumpy Captain Dobey in "Starsky and Hutch" (2004).

When David saw Fred Williamson he instantly recognized him;he was star struck. They chatted a bit and we walked away. After a bit, David regretted not getting his autograph or a photo so he wanted to go back and he asked me to take a photo of them shaking hands. The photo and autograph cost $25 but to David the moment was priceless!"
