This is actually my 2nd DIY album, but I did not think to take pictures of the first before decorating. (Images of the finished 1st one coming soon.) The binding in this one is Pinterest inspired. Although, I did forget to include a spine. I had just finished tying off the ribbon and liked how it looked, so I decided to leave it spineless. I also gained inspiration for this from my roommate, who mentioned people making albums with upcycled toilet paper roll cardboard. The thought intrigued me, so I decided to try it out. I cleaned off the toilet paper roll cardboard, then cut a slit so I could flatten them out. I left them under books for a day to help flatten them. Next, I glued them to packaging paper (4 per page) and folded it over to cover 360° and glued down that side. Right after making each page, I put it under a book to flatten out some more. I let the pages flatten out for a couple days before working with them again. After that, I cut and scored the kraft paper to make the binding. Then I adhered them to each page and hole-punched them. Next I threaded ribbon through with pony beads to separate each page. Hope you like it! Thanks for taking a look!
