While we were in New York this past July, we took a day to go to Coney Island. It was a bucket list thing for both of us, and it was a ton of fun.

We're both of us major roller coaster fans, but we've never ever been on anything quite like this one. It's called The Steeple Chase, and as luck (or maybe planning) would have it, we managed to get ourselves in the front two seats, or saddles in this case.

The ride takes off like a shot - just like racehorses breaking from the starting gate - and it never lets up. It's incredibly fast, heart pounding, thrill riding at its finest. We rated it in the top ten of our favorite roller coaster rides of all time.
