Here is a better picture of our fireplace decorated for Christmas. I made all the stockings myself. The first four I did a few years ago, but bought the kits well in advance of the holidays so I was able to work on them without being rushed. To get Karsons's stocking done last year I worked like crazy every night after he went to bed to finish it. Not just in time to hang it for Christmas, but when I put out the decorations, which is the day after Thanksgiving.
