A 2 ft spool was sanded down, painted black, then white over top. The center was stained with Barnwood Stain by Craftsmart (Michaels). The #'s were stenciled on and then the entire thing was coated with Antique Wax by Homestead House. The center will be covered by a CD sprayed matte black and the Clock Mechanism will be fed through the center, the Hands will then be attached. Clock mechanism is also from Michaels.
I will be going over the numbers again just so that they will be clearly visible in and among the distress!! Each one is a learning experience...................
