Hello Little Squirrel

This was THE funniest thing. Picture this little squirrel trotting across on the top of the deck railing and stopping, unaware that it was being observed. All 3 of our dogs (2 mine, 1 my son's) catch sight of him and quietly begin observing it. I just happened to have my camera on the kitchen counter, so I snapped some pictures because they looked so funny. Look at the left ear of Zip in the top right photo … Heehee… It's as if he's ‘listening' intently! Or the ears of Zip and BooBoo in the top left … they look like matador hats! I was also able to catch the squirrelly little thing through the blinds in the door (in between the glass). All of a sudden he took off, and then the barking started, they took off running into another room, to look out the window, to see where the squirrel had gone. But, alas, he was gone. So here's the journaling that is sprinkled around the page:

“Don't run away!” “Where'd he go?”
“Yoo Hoo … Can you see us in here?”
“We want to play!” “DID you say SQUIRREL?”
“Secretly …. we want to chase you and have fun!”
“Here Squirrel, Squirrel ….” “…. Just wanna play … heehee!”
“Ooooohhhh …” “Check it out … an intruder ….” “Yoo Hoo …
“Would someone PLEASE open the door for us!”
“Just Bonnie, BooBoo and Zip looking out the window.”
Stay and play … Please!” “Yikes!”


Products used: Daisy D's French Marker Papers – 2 kinds (AWESOME papers!!), Diane's Daughters Amber & Opal Skinny Dips Embellishments (circle, Square, top strips); Basic Grey Sublime paper, dark and light green cardstock, Miss Elizabeth's Brad, Repro Film Computer fonts, Provo Craft metal dragonfly, unknown metal swirl, Versa Mark ink.
