I found a card like this on Pinterest (brujahrose.blogspot.com) and loved the quilt block idea, so I thought I would give it a try. The gal that made hers used white cardstock for background and an embossing folder that had polka dots all over. I don't have one like that so I just used my Darice Snowflakes folder. The little blocks are 1" squares so I used some of my scraps of G45's Christmas Carol Collection and K & Company Christmas paper I've had for ages. It's a fairly simple card although cutting the squares and placing them was a bit of a challenge. My fingers aren't as nimble as they used to be! I inked around the edges of each square and the background paper as well. Stamped my sentiment, glued it to the card base which is Paper Studio's Remnants of the Season and that's all there is to it.
