" Shabby Chic Christmas Bird House " for Reneabouquets 2017 Christmas Theme Challenge

Here is my entry for Reneabouquets Christmas Theme event. I used the following Reneabouquets products. Tiny Treasures Sweet pea Glitter Glass Butterfly ~ Venetian Embroidered Lace ~ Pink Pearl & Rhinestone Button ~ White, Weathered Gray and Soft pink Chiffon Pearl & Rhinestone Flowers ~ Mini Pink Mulberry Paper Roses and Victorian Winter Angel Die Cut. This project took me about a week to create. The little trees I finally found at Michael's in a little section with Beach themed items. Took off the shells, etc and added pearls. Then wrapped the trees with string pearls. There are several laces and trims on here as I wanted to layer. The bird house is on a pedestal on top of a base with added little feet to keep it from being flat and so I could add the trim and dangles. I made one a few yrs back, it's in my gallery and I didn't like the hole left open so it gave me the opportunity to use Renea's beautiful button brooch. I know you can't see the Reindeer very well but he is gorgeous. He looks like he is made of glass but it's a heavy plastic. His back is embedded with what looks like cut glass pieces. I got him at HL along with the flat back pearls around the birdhouse. They have pretty bling in the center. This took me off and on over a week to create. But it was fun and worth the out come I think. You should have seen my scrap room. Feathers, flying, lace and trim everywhere, boxes and bins open, glue here and there, and on me. lol I am OCD so it was a challenge to leave a big ole mess for over a week. lol
