Give a Cheer
The cute little hamster in the ornament stamp is from the new Your Next Stamp "Hammie Holiday Fun" stamp set, but everything else used for this card is OLD classic crafty yumminess.
I used a pine branch die that I've had for at least 4 years, papers that are from a 2012 DCWV paper stack, ribbon and red and white baker's twine that has been crammed into a ribbon drawer and a retired Martha Stewart snowflake punch (part of the Aspen Snowflake Punch Around the Page set) that I got when I first started crafting!
I did some ink blending onto green card stock before I die cut out the pine branches. I Copic colored and fussy cut out the cute Hammie in the ornament. Then I punched holes in the card front with an embroidery needle to faux tie the baker's twine from a branch to the ornament. A little trimming down of the card front with the punches for a decorative border and matting with some green patterned and plain card stock. Voila!
For the inside I made a little pocket with an extra scrap of paper and the MS Punch to tuck in a gift card surprise. :)
