I do like your flourish branch.... after all, I've seen wire Christmas trees that have these as branches to hold ornaments. (They lose a lot fewer needles anyway.) Like the border punch snowflakes combined with the plaid pp.
I wanted to try using alternative dies or just a flourish to see if I could create a sense of a Christmas tree branch without using a pine branch die. I think this worked out!
The Hammie Holiday Fun Your Next Stamp stamp was Copic colored and I used a bit of Lawn Fawn bakers twine to tie a bow and faux hanger loop (I actually just used an embroidery needle to punch holes to give a taut hanging loop look). The edges were trimmed down with one of my first border punches, Martha Stewart Aspen Snowflake Punch Around the Page (retired), to add a decorative edge. The patterned plaid paper from my scrap box is so old that I have no idea where it came from! :P
The inside I kept simple with just a couple of hand cut banners from more small patterned paper scraps and a stamped out sentiment from the Your Next Stamp Hammie Holiday Fun stamp set
