Love that you are scrapping these! I am taking a photo each day of ours (tomorrow they will find him in the coffee pot! - no coffee for dh tomorrow until he gets to work! lol)
I love the elf on the shelf idea - wish it had been around when my kids were little! So much fun - I would have had a ball doing that with them. What a fabulous tradition. And will be fun to do again when you have grandkids! I can see them doing things with your slippers - hiding them and leaving notes to find them. Yes, a whole new game. Kids do grow up too quickly. Your still has that innocence and awe for magic and Santa and elves that won't be there much longer so treasure every moment.
I have never heard of Santa Slippers. I hope you can keep the magic going too. Children grow up to soon. After seeing your Christmas layouts, I think I need to get some of that Carta Bella papers and accent. Thanks for inspiring me.
A page from the story of Jingle and Jangle for 2017. This year they bought me a present - the Santa Slippers which I now have to incorporate into all their antics so that the magic is kept up. My youngest is 13 and she is suspicious that Santa is not real and that the elves are not magic. So far I have been able to keep the magic alive and hope that it will continue a little longer. This is a special book I am creating to treasure the last of the magic that I know will be gone until the grandchildren arrive in the distant future hopefully.
