This is oh SO gorgeous! Thank you first of all, for showing us your beautiful work! Second of all BUT VERY IMPORTANTLY... thank you for always giving all the details about how you make your cards and how to find the things you use. All too often I see a card and I'm dying because I want a certain die, element or stamp and there is NO info about it! I've even sent PMS and asked about something. 80% of the time, I get no answer. So... please keep up the great work you do making these wonderful works of art AND FOR giving all the info also! That takes work too and I really appreciate it!!! 100% awesomeness <-----YES!
Those dies create such a beautiful look and you ran with that here obviously. Wow! The plaid is wonderful and the frame and the use of two of the die sizes all amounted to an amazing card.
Wow, what a great idea to back the hemstitched holes with mirror card. This is gorgeous and adds a bit of mystery to how the card was made. I love the plaid and the double mats. Your poinsettia looks like it was freshly picked! I love the gold center piece. Very beautiful. I have loved how you have been using that holly flourish. So pretty.
I love love the gold showing through...at first I thought you did that with a pen or paint. very like the sentiment in gold...must do that. and of course your poinsettia die made me have to buy one!
I love the plaid too, esp the black it is very rich and stately. I want to use more dies in my work.. your craftsmanship is outstanding, love the poinsettia.
Gorgeous! I love that mirror cardstock peeking thru. The framed Merry Christmas with the lovely poinsettia in the corner is fantastically designed. You rock!
I love plaid. Especially at Christmas. When I saw 52nd Avenue use the Spellbinders hemstitch rectangle dies, I decided I needed them too. Thanks for the inspiration Linda! These are what I used to cut the plaid layer as well as the black frame. Gold mirror cardstock peaks through the hemstitch detailing (although it appears almost green in the photo). I also added one of my handmade poinsettias (Dee's Distinctively dies), dark green holly flourishes (Cheery Lynn) and a die cut sentiment.
