Meet Miss Valentina, my most recent Julie Nutting Prima Doll purchase! This card is for a dear church friend who has a wintertime birthday so I thought I would make a wintery card! Valentina has her winter boots on and I thought I would spiffy them up by adding some Champagne glitter glass (from now closed Gone Artsy) to the "fur" of her boots! And, although the picture doesn't show it well I added a bit of stamped lace to her tights that I painted with mica powder. It was too cold for bare legs! ;-) Her skin and hair was colored in with watercolor pencils. I added some liquid pearls for buttons and head band.

The beautiful lamppost and doily die are brand new also...a purchase from Pamela Joy Boutique on FB. I absolutely LOVE them. I added some gold sparkle paper to the lights of the lamppost. Lamppost paper is DCWV's Mercury Glass stack.

The entire background is stamp embossed. Snowflakes are from Impression Obsession that I've had for ages. The beautiful flourishes are a Tim Holtz stencil that I just love as well. Die cut with the birthday greeting I got from Amazon.
