My oldest daughter's birthday is 3 days before Christmas, so I make sure to not use any Christmas colors when presenting her cards and gifts. The background of this card is hand painted just simple black lines. Then the blue die cut flowers are place on top. I jazzed up each flower with Prima paper flower and a brad. Greenery is placed under the flowers a vellum die cut tag is added with Happy Birthday die cut on top. I cut two birthday sentiments, the top one in blue and a shadow layer in black. I finished the card with a wrap of jute tied in a bow.
