In November two of my daughters and I ventured into T2 to trial their latest iced Teas. The lady there invited us to an iced tea workshop and we said yes. AT first I was not going to go - being the middle of the week and at night after work and every other excuse I could find but we finally settled on going and I am so glad we did. My youngest had a lovely time playing hostess to all the other people in the group and we learnt so much about tea making! I learnt about green tea needing to be made at 80 degrees and black tea not to be brewed longer than 3 minutes and the secret to iced is the instantaneous cooling through crushed ice! Amazing. We had a lovely time and now trialling different tea blends and making iced tea has become a fun hobby! If a little on the expensive side.....
Journaling reads -After trying some free iced tea samples one weekend the girls and I booked in to an Iced Tea workshop at T2. We didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We got to taste at least 15 different types and each of us had a different preference. It was interesting to learn that crushed ice was the secret to perfect iced tea and Turkish Apple the best sweetener. We had a fun night and a new fun hobby – Making Iced Teas!
I used my new die for the corner embellishments. The wooden butterfly and teacup were sent in a pocketletter swap with Bonprof - Donna from here. Thanks Donna they fit perfectly.
