This is a layout of my best friend and I. We have been friends for over 40 years. We grew up together. Her brother was my best friend through school , the best man at my wedding. We have had 9 children between us and have certainly had a fair few adventures together. She is the reason I scrap - I watched her for years and then finally bit the bullet. We are scrap cruise buddies and are always there for each other. She lives in Newcastle now and I live in Sydney and even though we do not get to see each other as often as I would like, the friendship is stronger than ever. Our mums used to play scrabble together when we were kids and now we scrapbook together. The circle of life! Our mums would drink coffee after coffee as they played and now we do that whenever we get to scrap together.
These photos were taken at Taronga Zoo when we were there for my youngest's birthday. I mentioned were going to the zoo and she was in Sydney at the time, straight away she asked if we minded if they tagged along. Silly question.
Made for the 5 ingredients January challenge - blue and yellow, matting, clouds, circles, thread and your own - wooden camera!
