Just an adorable and wonderful page. I love the photos so much and your journaling!!! This is so creative, fun, and happy!!! Thanks for sharing it with all of us!
My goodness!!!! Such CUTE pictures, and an awesomely CREATIVE layout!!!! I love how you stiffened the floss with the matte medium! I will have to remember that!!!
Perfect title - such cute, cute pics of Traci and Kimmer - they were just adorable! I made a clown costume way back when too - think it was for Adam and then Sarah wore it too, however, I skipped the face makeup LOL!!! Great, precious memories - so glad to see you scrapping again :)
This is absolutely adorable!!! Love the photos, balloons, clowns, and all the other things that you did on this layout!!!! Nice to see you scrapping more too.
Terrific layout! The traced and cut clowns are super cute as is the way you did the balloon strings. I enjoy reading your descriptions and getting ideas for techniques to try.
Photos of my daughters in 1979. I used older papers from my stash...I believe they are by Making Memories. Title work was designed and cut with the Silhouette Cameo. The clowns were free clipart from the internet that I brought into my Cameo and traced them and cut them out. The balloons are also free clip art that I traced and cut with the Cameo. I added a bit of doodling with a brown pen. The strings from the balloons are embroider floss that I stiffened with some multi-matte medium. some items are popped up for a little dimension. I also added some Nuvo drops in orange across the punched edge on the bottom. The green bracket background was created by tracing an old piece of shaped paper and cutting it out. Journaling is computer generated and reads:
My two little clowns, Traci and Kimberly…all dressed up to go trick-or-treating. I made your clown costumes from some really “loud” fabrics. Since Matthew was only 8 months old and I didn’t want to take him out, our neighbor, Bill Hinson, volunteered to take you two along with his children, Shannon and Trey. I probably made those costumes without a pattern…which explains why they look so big on you. The “make-up” was actually red lipstick…I didn’t think that one through very well…as the lipstick was very difficult to remove from your faces! Looking at the big smiles on your faces, I’d say you two were excited about getting to go trick-or-treating! October 31, 1979
