This is my lo for the January Not To Be Squared Challenge. I was inspired by and lifted this lo: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/217932069451887551/

This is a pic from dd's 3rd birthday.

There is a lot of stitching on this...some of it is because the inspiration lo had it and some of it I needed as a form of adhesive to keep things stuck to the lo. LOL I ended up stitching the buttons, because the little white strips of cs kept popping up. The title alpha stickers had to be stitched, because they are sol old, the adhesive didn't want to stick. The "3" was stitched in order to try to make the blue inking on it seem more coordinated with the alpha stickers.

I did the fringey looking, folded white strips, because my white buttons looked off color (compared to the whites in the pps and cs) against the colorful pps. I'm sure there was an easier way to do this look than cutting a million (or it seemed like that number) tiny strips of cs and folding them and adhering them around the circle...but, I didn't think it through that far until after I had finished.

I added the pearl bling around the pic/frame, to tie in the pearls on her tiara and to make the distressed wood looking frame tie in a little better with the lo.
