Here's what I did with my ugly papers from January. It's kind of a silly little project, but it was fun to do something outside my traditional comfort zone.

I planned to put my -9 degrees photo on here, but when I got to this point, I realized there really wasn't anywhere to fit it in.

It's been single digits this week - really since the first of the year - and the girls are wearing nice heavy winter turn out blankets to keep them comfortable. Normally, if it's just cold, I don't worry about it too much, but when it's THIS cold, they need the extra help. Their blankets have drop flaps in the back to keep the wind from blowing up between their hind legs, which is where most of the heat loss comes from.

I know they like wearing them, because when I bring them out, both girls meet me at the gate and it's kind of a battle to see who gets dressed first. Bonnie usually wins because she's the bossier one.

Anyway - since they're both already in blankets, I figured that it wouldn't hurt them too much to add a couple of hats.
