It always feels good when you find a project for a piece you've been saving. It's like it was just waiting for it. Wonderful Christmas card! I really like how sharp the black is with the red, white and touch of green.
So last December I made a Anniversary Card and for some reason I had a second base made up that I didn't use. So I had the black base with the red and white embossed piece on it but could never find the perfect image to go on it so I set it to the side. I just bought paper in December while in Branson with TexasMomOf4. I saw this journaling card image on one of the papers I bought and immediately grabbed the card to see if it would work on there and it did!! I used a corner punch to actually cut out the corners and then added black epoxy dots...then the card was done!
