I have been taking pictures of my grandson and granddaughter next to me. In fact on Monday, we celebrated his 16th birthday and took one of those pictures, he towers over me. My gd is up to my eyebrows now, we will measure again at Christmas time. You have inspired me to scrap those pictures.
What a wonderful two pager and what a wonderful story to tell!!!! I love all of the masculine touches and - even more - all of the details that go with your theme!
Love this. The gears and the measurement tools are really clever. Love all the straight lines. Goes perfectly with the theme. The papers and the picture are great as are your quote. Love everything about this.
Great idea! I wish I had done this. I wasn't scrapbooking when mine were little. My mother has a place inside a pantry door where she marked the heights every year of every grandchild on their birthdays. Fun to see all the grandkids as their marks move up.
I haven't done this in a while, I used to do it at least once a year, but have somehow not gotten around to doing it for a couple of years. I just had to do it this year, as my youngest son has just overtaken his older brother in height! There is a 4 year age gap between the two of them. Next year I'll be doing another Stats layout, and I'm sure the youngest will be very visibly taller than the oldest! They make me feel short, and I'm 1.74m tall!
