I scraplifted this layout from one of my favorites in the gallery here at scrapbook.com. The original layout was just beautiful to me. I needed a 2 pager for the other photos, but kept as close to the original as possible. I still think the original is the best take on this though. Here is a link to that one:

I don't normally do a lot of monochrome stuff, but since my son's shirt and the State Troopers uniforms were blue, I figured this would be the perfect layout for it.

I pulled random patterns from several kits and changed the colors in Photoshop Elements to go with the blue theme.

All of these pictures are from my cell phone, so they are not the best quality, but sometimes that is all you have with you when milestones happen! letting go of perfectionism, and trying to preserve memories!!!
