My grandson got his learning permit today, and I also got a phone picture from my daughter's phone. I guess, I will have to follow on your footsteps. This is really cute, I really like the color and papers you used for the triangles.
I think it's so smart how you turned a single page lo into a double. It's very clean yet detailed enough to be interesting. Don't beat yourself up about cell phone pics or any bad pics in general. I always say it's the stories that matter. I don't think I've ever looked at a lo and thought, "Geez, that is a bad photo."
I scraplifted this layout from one of my favorites in the gallery here at scrapbook.com. The original layout was just beautiful to me. I needed a 2 pager for the other photos, but kept as close to the original as possible. I still think the original is the best take on this though. Here is a link to that one: https://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=13981&m=view&id=6070655&type=-1&size=0&f=1
I don't normally do a lot of monochrome stuff, but since my son's shirt and the State Troopers uniforms were blue, I figured this would be the perfect layout for it.
I pulled random patterns from several kits and changed the colors in Photoshop Elements to go with the blue theme.
All of these pictures are from my cell phone, so they are not the best quality, but sometimes that is all you have with you when milestones happen! letting go of perfectionism, and trying to preserve memories!!!
