I enjoy creating interactive cards so when I saw this cute toaster in the Odds and Ends pack from Doodlebug design's new So Punny line, the idea for this pull tab card came straight to mind. Jennifer McGuire has an awesome blog post and video explaining how to create pull tab cards for anyone who might be interested (https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/07/slider.html ). For this one, I carefully cut a slit in the slot of the toaster that was just slightly larger than the width of the pop tart. I fashioned my pull tab mechanism at the back of a stitched scallop rectangle using the smallest die from Lawn Fawn's slide on over set as well as a stitched strip die from YNS and a foam dot. I then added a layered heart with my digi printed sentiment and a twine bow with a heart center.
