Funny story about this layout featuring my youngest, Dan...when I pulled him into the bedroom to show him what I made, he comes in, looks at it and says "who the h--- is that??!!! LOLOL I said that's you, goofy!! Bear in mind, my kid is now 23-1/2 years old and 6 feet tall!! His hair is now brown, but he still has blue eyes!

I usually don't like to use busy background paper because I'm not confident about using them, but I do like how this turned out.

First, I want to give special thanks to:
Marylou (Meggie's Nana) for the green corrugated paper
Carri (Caletts) for the honeycomb and aster? die cuts
Donna (Bonprof) for the hummingbird stickers
My husband for the Irontown buttons from work pants that wore out!

In case you're wondering about that red netting at the bottom of the picture layers...it was a Cuties mandarin oranges bag that I cut up! That was one of the things I really wanted to use for this layout! The feathers were some I got last year when our Craft Warehouse closed along with the background paper. :-( The champagne glitter glass was from the now closed Gone Artsy. Keys and postage stamp die from Amazon. Metal flowers from Joann's (I think). I've had those in my stash a long time.

The beautiful corner flourishes are from Creative Embellishments. I sprayed them with Dylusions Dirty Martini and then rubbed some Versamark in spots and sprinkled Stampendous Aged Silver embossing powder. I think it is called embossing enamel nowadays. I also used it on the flower die cut Carri gave me and a bit on the honeycomb diecuts also. I painted them with TH Antique Linen Distress Paint first.

Oh yes, the beige paper under the picture is actually packaging from TH Word Keys. I saved all that packaging and bagged up all my metal elements in baggies for organizing. I ran it through my Paper Studio Lattice Circle embossing folder and then rubbed TH Walnut Stain over the raised edges. If you look closely the design kind of matches the background paper. "Sweet" stamp from Gabrielle Pollacco.

Items not listed...(I still don't like their new Products Used listing feature)!!
DCWV Gauze paper stack
My Mind's Eye Nutmeg Hanging Out clear stamps (Handsome Boy)
Jolee's Boutique Deco Frames (lower left)

Thank you so much for visiting my gallery. I appreciate you all so much. One more thing...this picture was taken at the same time as my previous layout of Genuine Sam!
