I just found your page looking for products with the Verdigris Embossing Powder. I also have a Great Grandfather and Grandmother that came from Ireland and were born around the same time. I don't have any photos of THEM, but I can go to the Cemetery and take a picture of their Grave Stones. They are obviously very old and have fallen on to the ground (I always thought that was the way that they were placed originally, but my mom remembers them standing up). Thank you for the inspiration to do my own heritage page!
I found your beautiful layout while looking for paint products. This is so wonderful and such an honor to your ancestor. My great-great grandfather also came from Ireland and was born around the same time (1837). You are lucky to have a photo of him. I peeked at your blog and got some great ideas for techniques. You are very talented!
LOVE this photo (his hat, tie, cane - awesome!) and layout! Love the calendar as your background. Those shades of green are so unexpected and really work! Love the flourish, micro beads, and those amazing flowers. Thx for sharing!
I love this vintage Irish layout, its just stunning!!! I love vintage and you pulled the greens in this layout together so beautifully. How wonderful that you have this amazing picture of your Great Granddad. A beautiful tribute page to him.
I ,know I wrote you a comment on this last week but it isn’t here! I must have left the page without saving it. 🤠This is a gorgeous heritage page and you have done beautiful justice to that grand photo. I like that you used the G45 calendar paper. I was just thinking that I needed to find a good use for mine. Thanks for the inspiration.
I absolutely adore this amazing and beautiful layout! What a wonderful photo - you scrapped it so beautifully! I am half Irish, too - my dad was Irish!!!!! Happy early St. Patrick's Day!!!
The Son of Ireland in my title is my Great-Grandfather McCormick. He was born in Ireland on March 15, 1838 – only two days before St. Patrick’s Day – close enough for me! This layout was created for the March Heritage Challenge https://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/1673855/
