Good morning friends! I made this layout as a sort of sequel to the "3 Generations" layout I made for my brother, although this one will go to my niece, Charlotte, who is in the photograph. I got tickled at my brother wearing a U.S. Marshal's badge. His name is Marshall, so he is Marshal Marshall in this picture! LOL And little Elliott is his Deputy!

This layout is made using the beautiful Stamperia Blues paper collection. It has so many neat looking textures on it, including the burlap that is printed in the paper. This came together so quickly for me. I started on it Tuesday afternoon and finished it up yesterday afternoon in about an hour. The GORGEOUS Beautiful Board clock is from Reneabouquets as well as the exquisite intricate butterflies. I had just finished the layout (or so I thought) when I decided it needed something more, when I remembered I had just gotten these butterflies and thought they were the perfect finish!

Instead of using texture paste through my script stencil I went with pressing my Versamark pad through it and heat embossing with Ranger's Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I love that stuff! I handmade the flower awhile back using a beautiful bling cabochon from the now closed Gone Artsy store. Under it are California Quail feathers I picked up in our yard. The diecut Romantic Vines are heat embossed with Stampendous Shabby Blue embossing powder. The corner flourish under the flower was diecut from a tissue box.

The resin lantern is a piece I've had for ages and can't remember where I got it. I believe it was from Paper Studio at HL. I added Champage Blend Glitter Glass from Gone Artsy to the lights. The button on the key was from my mom's button tin so that adds a little specialness for my niece. The phrase I stamped is Tim Holtz The Journey clear stamps.

Thank you to Mary (Abbygirl) for the Prima Vintage Trinket at the top of the clock.

I hope I didn't "type" your ear off with all the details! LOL Thank you very much for visiting my gallery!
