You are so clever!!! I LOVE these! I used to sew all the time and made clothes for people over the years to earn money. Since I took up paper crafting and after having my boys, I just lost interest although I did make them clothes. I made my wedding gown and veil, a western suit for a step uncle, a fleece-lined denim jacket for my hubby, as well as several western shirts and jeans....all sorts of stuff. Love your embossed stamping, the sewing machines and little spools of thread. I used a couple of spools on a layout I did of me when I was three. They are so cute!! Nice work my friend!
LOL, I love your explanation, so cute! I know what you mean about light... sometimes it makes something look totally different. Okay enough about that. Love these!! The bellies are so tiny and cute!! Fabulous job on these!!
These are just darling. I love the design and all those little wood pieces are awesome. I did not know they sold those. I love em'. And I know what you mean about lighting. I can't seem to get a decent picture these days of the true colors.
Three of these ATCs will go to Marci's swap. I apologize that the photo is not better. These are prettier IRL. I had to take the photo in bright light to get the silver embossing to show up and it made the wood pieces appear shinier than they are. Ok enough excuses. I love the way the stamped and embossed sewing images turned out. Even my husband thinks they are cool. I got the little wooden spools at hobby lobby some time ago and was just waiting for the right project to use them. I used only one long piece of linen thread for each. One end I attached to the base of the spool, then sewed through the eyelet and buttons, and then left it through the eye of the needle that I used to sew.
