Okay ladies...some of you asked for a tutorial of how to make these flowers so I did my best to come up with one. It is very difficult to hold a cell phone to take a picture in one hand and holding the project in the other hand, since I'm not an octopus!! LOL I will say that on one I made the other day, I sprayed with Dylusions Lemon Zest because my husband wanted me to make a yellow one. The color hardly showed up at all so I bought some white primer paint because I didn't want to hand paint each shell with Gesso. I'm going to give the primer a try and then mist it again in yellow and see how it comes out. I did notice that the inside of the shells don't take the mist as well as the outside and that is most likely because of the oils in the nuts. So, it is up to you if you want to take the time to hand wash them first and see what happens! I'm not THAT energetic! LOL So, if you make any of these please share your beauties for us to see!!
