That is an AMAZING ride!!!! I am pushing 50 years and I STILL ride these bad boys! I am a TRUE adrenaline junkie!!! Probably the best ride I've been on is Cheetah Hunt and Sheikra (Busch Gardens), but Gemini will always hold a special place in my heart... (my first big one) along with Magnum:)
When I read your description and saw "triangles" in the die cutting technique list, I about had a heart attack. Thought you'd pieced that whole background together and I was just gonna throw in the towel and go home. Glad to see you're not crazy. LOL Beautiful page. REALLY clever to use the sticker paper that way.
That paper is incredible as a background. It feels like the sun and stars all together. Super vibrant, free feeling layout. You definitely achieved the right feel on this design.
Oh wow girl!!! You are so much braver than I. I usually pass out from holding my breath on a roller coaster like that one. I am super afraid of heights, and plummeting straight down like that petrifies me, but I still try to be a team player and go on. Fun page and great memories to treasure.
Whew, that makes my stomach woozey just looking at it. Love the way you matted the photos together in the center of the 2 pages. Love your big title. Looks like lots of fun.
On the surface this is just a layout about a roller coater... but YOU have made it into a work of art w/ your paper choices and overall design (BTW - LOVE the BG PP!!)! I also love your descriptive journaling even though it made me queasy (no joke!... I don't do roller coasters!)
This is just awesome! The papers you used are perfect on this double pager! It really catches your eyes, and the journaling box with the arrows is just so cool. This ride looks scary as hell to me, LOL, but your description of it makes it sound amazing.
It's funny how everyone experiences things differently. It has never occurred to me to scrap about roller coaster rides. You did a fabulous job with it and the journaling is perfect.
I, too, love Cedar Piint, and the Millenium Force is my favorite coaster! Love the bg! Did you find the pic of looking down the hill online or did you take it when your hands were in the air?!?
Awesome! I too love roller coasters, however I cant let go. I have a death grip the entire time. I love the title the lyrics are perfect for your roller coaster theme.
You are way braver than me - I wouldn't be brave enough to go on that! I love the bg paper and I really love how you did the title with the black outline and different fonts!
DH and I have made plans twice to get to Cedar Point and each trip has been derailed by outside forces! Grrr! This is fantastic! Your journaling makes me very antsy for a coaster ride!
This is for the following April 2018 challenges: Music Inspiration - my song was "Alive" by POD Die Cutting - Silhouette cuts - rectangles, title, triangles, arrows Amusement Park - This awesome roller coaster is located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio Artistic Ingredient Journaling - 50+ words
Journaling reads: Millennium Force is a giga coaster. That means that it goes up higher than 300 ft. In fact, Millennium Force goes up 310 ft. and drops you 300 ft. almost straight down. Whenever we go down that first hill, I let go and put my hands in the air. I feel so alive and so free! We’ve ridden this ride hundreds of times and it never fails. Every single time I put my hands up and just enjoy that feeling. There’s nothing else like it!
