How great does the stripe background paper bring out the colors in the map. I learned something. I didn't know you lived in Florida. Oh sure, I move here and you leave. Hahaha!
I really enjoyed all of that journaling! As far as CityWalk goes, I wasn't that impressed the one time we were there except for when we saw the Blue Man Group. This is an awesome lo for either the beginning or the end of an album. It is nothing short of perfect!
Universal and Harry Potter world were never on my radar until you started posting your layouts and now I really want to go there. I loved the books (a lot more than the movies) and this is something I really want to do. (Will have to twist Bill's arm though - he hasn't read any Harry Potter and only made it through 10 minutes of the first movie). Plus he is not a fan of amusement parks so it will take a lot of arm twisting to get him to take me there! You have scrapped everything so beautifully and really make the park enticing! You sold me on it - I want to go there!
My last page for Universal - I needed another page at the end just to summarize. This could go in the front too - but I already have a page for that.
Very simple page - American Crafts striped pp, Recollections black & yellow cs, die-cut from Henri! I had hoarded the striped paper (love the bright colors) and when I got the die-cut from Henri I knew it would go with it!
Journaling - We made multiple trips to Disney World and Sea World while we lived in Florida; Universal was not built by the time we left in 1987. Universal Studios was opened in 1990 and Islands of Adventure in 1999. The 2 times we flew back to Orlando for vacations (1990 and 2003); we were focused on Walt Disney World and stayed both times at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Universal just wasn’t on our radar at that time. I think the first time I took note of it was when I heard that they opened the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in 2010. That got my attention. When we moved back to Florida at the end of 2013, it was one place that we wanted to visit. With everything that went on while we lived in Melbourne; we never made it. We did make a trip to Disney in Oct 2015 and stayed at Fort Wilderness for 5 nights but again didn’t go to Universal. Then at the end of 2016 we were leaving the state, becoming full-time RVers, and who knew when we would be back. It was time to pay Universal a visit! By this time Universal had added Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Express (in 2014) so we were able to get the full Harry Potter experience! While it was expensive and we didn’t get to as many of the attractions as I would have liked, we made it to those we really wanted to see. It was worth it! I would come again – although I would do one ‘world’ at a time. We didn’t even check out anything in the CityWalk! It was a super fun day!
