What??? You made your flowers, watch out my flat scrapper is getting braver! hahahaha They look beautiful, but not as beautiful as you and your BFF in these lovely pics! 50 years of friendship is certainly something to cherish and I'm so glad you keep your annual beach trips with her! Beautifully done!!!
Awesome page, how cool you are still BFF's after 50 yrs, love that! I LOVE your flowers, you did awesome with them, so pretty and I love the zipper part. Great page. I have probably 200 or more books filled to the brim with scrapbook pages I really have to get my act together and post some of them, I forget and just put them in the album and start the next one.
Ok, I am learning to put a flower here and there on my los. You did a great job!! I like the different sizes sand colors, including the centers you used.
How amazing! Your flowers are a mix of cute and beautiful. You got to love Southern California, we are only a hop skip and a jump away from beautiful San Diego and their beaches. Terrific page Vickie!
I love the variety in those pretty flowers. I'm glad you made them. What a wonderful friendship to last for so many years. You are blessed to have each other.
In this day and age, it's so amazing that a friendship has lasted so long, Vickie! It's a testament to YOU!!! Your page is happy, fun, and beautifully designed! I love the placement of the joyful photos!!!
Vickie - I don't know why flowers are outside your comfort zone, because these are freakin' awesome! The little zippered flower at the top - that one is just darling! And it's so cool to see you sitting on the same bench at La Jolla that hubby and I did on our visit there! Which one are you - on the right or the left? ;-)
The first thing I noticed was the pretty flowers with stems and leaves. It was the best-est accent for such an inspiring layout. So nice to have such a good friend. Julian!!! I love that quaint little town. Did you have apple pie?
Beautifully designed page!!!! I love your colors and layers. You say that handmade flowers are out of your comfort zone, but these are wonderful; those zippers are perfect!!!!
April 2015. Me and my BFF. "After almost 50 years of friendship, our annual trip to San Diego is more important than ever." I made all the flowers (which is outside my comfort zone). Layered some die cut flowers, added brads, buttons and pieces of broken zippers. Wrote the title and cut the tag on the Cricut. TFL April Challenges - Journaling and Sketch
