A real stunner!! I love so much about this layout from the inking to the bg papers to the flower centers using a variety of center embellishments to the metal work in the butterflies! Inspiring to use keys for the butterfly body!!! Love how you added color to the embellishments that you wanted to match your papers!
Well, well, well, you certainly rose to the occasion on this beauty! The colors just make this lo so striking. I love all your flowers, the lace & buttons down the side, & the metal corner pieces. Great pic of Dan & I am sure he would have never dreamed he would be surrounded by such beauty!!:))

What a beautiful layout featuring your son Dan! Those scrabble tiles were quite the find, love how you distressed the edges. The trim on the side with the buttons is fabulous.
Your Son is a very handsome young man, and he fits perfect into your amazing layout. I love the colors and all the embellishments you used to create this masterpiece.
A stunningly masculine page, full of layers and layers of color and texture and details; I love your handmade flowers and vines and that wonderful strip of buttons and brads down the side!!!!
This layout features my youngest, Dan. It is one of many senior pictures I took of him, at our home. I love the colors in the trees and bushes in the background and I tried to capture that in this layout, as well as the colors and wing shapes in his shirt. Two of the pistachio shells flowers I made matched the colors perfectly on this layout and I thought of using one of them but they overpowered the picture.
I am entering this in the two die cutting challenges this month. The flowers at the top, all the butterflies, the leaves and the frame. Special thanks to Kelly for the frame that I embossed with Hampton Art embossing powder, and the leaves (lower ones from Carri (Caletts) and fragile ones from Lisa (Iluvcats) that I also heat embossed. I recently purchased a Versamark Watermark pen and I just love it! It has a fine point on one end and a thicker point on the other. I used it on the larger leaves for two different colors as well as the edges of "Inspire".
The beautiful "Falling Leaves" chipboard piece is from Creative Embellishments. I hand painted it with acrylic paints and then used my Versamark pad all over it and added clear embossing powder to give it more depth and sheen. I posted a close-up so you could see the details a bit better.
I die cut those Tim Holtz flowers at the top a very long time ago out of his Grungepaper, rubbed Dried Marigold directly over them, ran it through my Paper Studio Intricate Swirl EF and then rubbed Aged Mahogany over the raised edges.
Background paper is Colorbok Vintage Treasures. I added heavy cardstock underneath to give it stability as it was just printed paper. It is very busy and I never thought I would use it but felt it matched the background in the picture so well. I toned it down under the leaves chippie with TH Walnut Stain and Black Soot because they blended right in with the paper after I painted them. I also added a large scrap of Webster's Pages vellum to tone it down a bit as well.
