Oh my...what a stunning heritage layout. The photo is the one thing I am in awe of. You saved it and it will be treasured for many generations. The border you did with the punched pieces and the flowers is ...... incredible. Thanks for sharing.
How sweet is that picture - and how wonderful that rescued it from the depths of lost memories! This is a gorgeous layout - so many pretty layers, distressing, lace, flowers, metal accents - everything that does justice to a heritage photo!
Beautiful heritage - love the layering and stitching and perfect ephemera!!!!
You're right about the baby clothes; I have one of my father from 1919 in similar garb.
This is such a beautiful heritage layout. I love the circle with flowers and ribbons. The punched edge is very pretty. The tiny little metal pieces are the perfect addition.
Wow another beautiful work of art, love the pic of James in his frock so precious. Your embellishments are so perfect, love the detail of the paper rolled up on the bottom with
the small bit of lace showing, genious, details are everything.
The baby is yet another Lost Relative from my dad's second wife's photos. The only couple things I know about this is that his name is James Louis Mathis, 5 months old in 1916. He was wearing a dressing gown called a frock. The children wore these to make diaper changing then "toilet" training easier.
