Aden finally got to cut with scissors. Despite Josh's assertion that he would be allowed to use them when he was 37 (same as cutting with knives and driving the car), he only had to wait until about 2 1/2 years old. He only had to be shown once how to hold them and happily fringed pieces of construction paper for literally hours.
