Journaling reads: Jacob got to meet Santa a little early this year.
We went on November 15th and beat the crowd.
Jacob talked all the way to the mall about
talking to “Ho Ho” but when we got
there he quickly changed his mind.
We had to coax him to go up
and talk to Santa.
Santa even gave him
two or three candy canes to
get him to sit on his lap.
Bribed by Santa!
So when we finally got him on
Santa’s lap he told Jolly Saint Nick
what he wanted for Christmas:
a gumball machine…
No toys, really.
He just wants a gumball machine.
Too cute.
Santa laughed and told him “okay”.
My son loves Santa, but he just clams up when it comes to zero hour. LOL.
All I could think of was when my son said he wanted a gumball machine, Santa would say "your teeth will rot out, kid" like the Santa from A Christmas Story (except Ralphie wanted a Red Ryder BB gun and Santa said "you'll shoot your eye out, kid." LOL
Anyway, it was a fun memory to capture.
Kids are hilarious.
