I'm sorry, but I think it is a great thought (as you've stated in your wonderful journaling) that she was able to spend some of her last moments doing something she enjoyed like this. Your LO is wonderful of course. The simple design is perfect. Like the soft colors and the stitching.
I'm so very sorry for your tragic loss. What a moving page that really makes you think about your OWN life. This is so striking, with the journaling bullets and the stitching.
Yes, a powerful heartfelt story with truly amazing photos. I love the effect of the ocean waves, it looks so soft and slightly out of focus. You have made an wonderful lasting memorial to her and what was important in her everyday life. A heartwarming tribute!!
OH my gosh...what a powerful and inspiring layout you made. It couldn't have been as good without the journaling. I am an avid journaler and this is why. The story behind the photos. You made a beautiful page with the blocking and stitching.
Such a heartfelt story behind these photos - I'm so sorry for your loss - we went through a similar thing when our DIL passed away unexpectedly 3 yrs ago... It is good to know, though, that they were enjoying those last days, moments - taking photos of what they loved. This is an awesome page - just beautiful :)
this is one of the most powerful one page layout ever. It put more emotion in me then sermons I have listened too. What does my phone pictures say about me? Makes me think about that also.
wow, girl, this is incredible! I absolutely love how you did the journaling, and the story behind it is even more special. An amazing layout and tribute to your MIL. Beautifully done and crafted.
This is so special. I have wondered what to do with my Mom's photos after she passed. Literally 5 minutes before her stroke she took a photo of her and some family friends at lunch. 5 minutes later she was in the hospital. Now I have an idea...thanks.
This is such a meaningful layout! It is definitely a large loss to lose someone suddenly but to have those memories of hers to preserve is amazing and you did a FABULOUS job! The title couldn't be more perfect!
what an amazing tribute to ellen.... such wonderful memories for you all to share... I took a photo of my dad with my family the evening before he passed, that photo is such a treasure to us all.....
Me too! It gave me chills as I was reading it. It brought back memories of one of my husband’s nice who passed away while on vacation. Her sister made a digital scrap book with all the pictures on her camera.
Die Cut Delight - everything was done with my silhouette: I drew and cut the journaling, cut the seagulls out of chipboard and cut out the cameras. The title was also drawn and cut with my Silhouette. Crafter's Choice Music Tic Tac Toe Journaling
