This was designed for May Use Your Scraps Challenge. All the 1" paper strips, banner pieces and even journaling piece are all from scraps.
Also submitted to May Sports & Play Challenge, with no twist.
I was putting this together for a NSD Challenge for Scrapbook Generation's Happy Camper Online Party. Our breakfast recipe called for 1" paper strips, texture, sparkle and season with paint, spray inks, washi, etc.
I had originally planned on building the whole thing on white cardstock and spray with Tattered Angel inks. Several of my sprays are old and created a mess, which I kept trying to fix by adding more. Finally I cut down the white cardstock and mounted on an ancient piece of Scenic Route paper. Inked all my strips and journaling block. Once I had it all compiled, I'm pretty happy with it!
