My granddaughter's doll cake for today's celebration (her first holy communion). Daughter did not buy the right kind of doll. It's suppose to be a 'child' doll with no makeup but I had to use what she bought... She will be so excited.. It took me 2.5 hours to hand stitch lace into what you see. Takes that long to do one with frosting. We have not found a Stable frosting to use that she is not allergic to so just went with fabric. . yes, there is cake under the skirt and it's a safe recipe.
