I had to come back and look at this after reading what you said about using the same paper collection as my PL to Jess. I still can't get over how gorgeous this is!!!
Woop, woop!! You are a winner & I can certainly see why! Wow, what a gorgeous PL & of course Gerri was thrilled to receive this amazing work of art. Pam, you always go the extra mile no matter what you create! You do know our EMT is working overtime right now? He did tell me he didn't understand why we would get so excited will all this & of course, I didn't hesitate to set him straight. He will come around eventually!:))
I really like the embossing and painting for highlights. The colors are of course really pretty. And of course the butterflies and the bow and lace and such add some wonderful textures.
This is gorgeous! the tags in the 2nd, 4th, 6th,and 8th pockets are which paper line? Is that the Botanical? It's all so beautiful, and so much to look at!
Oh my gosh!!! That is SO BEAUTIFUL, Pam!!! Absolutely LOVE the color scheme, the pearls around the edges are elegant, laces, embossing...everything is so elegant!! LOVE IT!!!
Pam, thank you so much for my beautiful pocket letter it is just georgeous I love all the creative touches you added. Your details and embellishments along with the lilac coloring make it perfect.
This is a pocket Letter I made for Gerri for the swap here on SB.com. Our theme was spring flowers and butterflies. I used several different dies to cut the tags, tiny bows, and small butterflies. The butterfly die is from one of the new Tim Holtz side kick die sets. These are a very handy size for pocket letters. I made the background using the botanical 3d Texture fades folder. I did some light finger painting with white acrylic paint to highlight the texture. The pocketwatch Prima vintage trinket in pocket 1 is filled with micro beads and these beautiful iridescent pearls from Renea Bouquets. Carri has used these before and I was so inspired that I ordered some. I also used glitter glass on the wings of 2 of the butterflies. The Prima Vintage Trinket in pocket 3 has an image that I cut from the Stamperia paper under the cabachon. The chipboard in the center pocket is dusty attic. Thanks very much to Laura for the lace that I used in pockets 7 and 9. The roses on the side are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
