Spring Daffodils Card

I made this card using Maja Designs paper and a few different Sizzix die sets. I used Stiched Ovals to cut the opening in my mat. I then used the 3D texture fade- Botanical to emboss the mat. I finger painted some of the raised areas lightly with white acrylic paint and also edged the inside and outside borders with the white paint. (This is the same technique I used on the pocket letter I posted yesterday). I fussy cut the daffodils from the Maja paper and glued to the underside of my mat. I made a card base and trimmed with pearls and lace and added the mat. I bumped the Matt up using foam tape. The focal bird image is also from the Maja paper. I used tattered florals and flutter Tim Holtz die sets to make my flowers with the pearl centers and the butterfly. The gorgeous pale yellow glitter glass is from Angelica’s Little Scrap Shoppe on Etsy. The tiny roses on each corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
