I used a die to cut out the 'baby block' pattern pieces and rubber cement to position them randomly on white cardstock. The journaling is with a glaze pen and I used a stencil to outline the zig-zag journaling block. The washi tape was a freebie from a crop, but that's definitely how I felt after Kellogg's discontinued my favorite cereal brand, LOL (see hand-written journaling). The layout is new from 5/26/18.

One of my favorite scrappin' and collage techniques is paper piecing geometric patterns. Before I did scrapbooking I made 'baby block' patterns hand-cutting the pieces from magazine pages and making collages. Now I found a die that cuts 6 pieces at once, it's awesome! I also love doing puzzle piece and hexagon punch paper piecing.
