I'm calling this my 'shlider' card, lol, since it is both a shaker and a slider card. When I saw sketch #4 from May's Card Sketch Challenge, I wanted to turn the CAS design into a double slider card and thought it would be fun to also add a shaker component. I used an underwater print from Doodlebug design and die cut a stitched rectangle out of the center creating an outer frame. I set the frame aside and die cut my slider tracks out of the center piece with one of my Lawn Fawn slide on over dies. I shortened the top track with partial die cutting. I then added my mermaids and my sentiment to the background. Foam tape raises the rectangle from the card base giving the sliders enough clearance to move smoothly across their tracks. I created a raised outer frame by adhering several layers of foam tape around the edge of the card before adding a piece of acetate over the entire front. More layers of foam tape continue to raise the frame along the edges. I then added my sequins from Neat and Tangled before adding a final layer of acetate to seal the shaker. I was now ready to add the frame I had cut to cover all the foam tape and voila, my finished 'shlider' card!

I apologize for the quality of the photos. It was very difficult to get a shot where my tablet wasn't reflected in the acetate or where there wasn't a glare from one of the lights.

Thank you very much for your kindness. I really appreciate it!
