I love all of your layers on this Laura! I think I gave you the turtle last year in our beach themed swap? Perfect place to use it, in that pocket!. Everything is perfect, esp the right side collage of items.
Holy cow, Laura! That is an AWESOME beach layout!!! The starfish and turtle are just perfect on it! All the elements and papers you used are so wonderful. I love the side border and I think you're right, bows and ribbon would've detracted from the beauty of the pockets. I love the lace and frilly yarn you chose to use instead! Wonderful job! I also love that rustic fence!!
Oh my Laura you took us to the ocean in such a wonderful way! Each square is beautiful designed & you used one of my fave colors. I love the fence & the lace that looks like a starfish, wow! Pam how exciting that you are the proud owner of this beauty!:)
I am so lucky to be the recipient of this gorgeous pocket letter. The composition and layering are amazing. I love the way this is one cohesive scene with something incredible in every section. Only Laura would find lace with starfish in the pattern. The colors are more vibrant IRL. I love the sentiment in the first pocket. The fussy cut she is amazing. The seashells and sand from Laura’s favorite beach. The beautiful starfish and turtle.... just amazing. I was so touched that Laura made this so special for me. I learned a lot about what makes a really good pocket letter by looking at what she did on this one. I feel like I need a do-over on mine.
Yay!! I got to use my fav colors, pps and theme! Made it kinda 3D. Everything I put as bows or ribbon as the side dangle took away so I thought this was enough. And it did not hide the pretty lace trim that looks like starfish and seashells. I used real sand and shells in bottom 2 left pockets from a trip we took to my fav place, Navarre Island in Florida! The pps are Stamperia and Kaisercraft. Chipboard is Dusty Attic and Blue Fern. Flowers are 49 & Market. The Bling is Prima. and the really old netting we found on the beach too! I just washed and dried it well but it added so much bg character! The Starfish in flower cluster is a vintage broach I had for awhile. This was so fun to make!TFL!
