Photo of some of my Daddy's tomatoes. I used a white background layered on a tiny black border. The seed packets were downloaded from the internet, printed, and cut out. The tomatoes were cut with the Cameo (I cut out the tomato from the seed packet in the upper right hand corner, then resized it to make the tomato embellies.) I added a touch of wink of stella to the highlights on the tomatoes and coated them with Tonic Crystal Glaze. I added some faux stitching around the seed packets. The title work was created, printed, and cut out with the Silhouette program. I cut out four of the outside shapes of the title work and layered them for dimension. The photo is matted with black and the edges punched with an EK Success punch. The journaling pull tab was computer generated and then I punched the edge with another EK Success punch. Journaling is tucked behind the photo and reads:

My Daddy (Grandpa Perdue) always had a garden growing, no matter where they lived. I’ve never known anyone who could grow vegetables like he could…and he didn’t really like to eat a lot of the things he grew! He just enjoyed the process of growing vegetables. When we were children, there was always a huge garden and we spent most of the summer canning and freezing vegetables for the fall and winter months. We usually managed to fill two freezers. I’m not sure what year this photo of his tomato crop was taken, but this was not an unusual sight. After they moved to Griffin, Georgia, there was this kind of abundance every summer! Unfortunately, I did not inherit his green thumb!
