This background was made with the Nuvo blending brushes, using the Distress Inks shown PLUS a 'Squeezed Lemonade' color (yellow, of course) that's not shown. I was more than skeptical about using the brushes but I found that blending with these is so much easier than with the foam-pad style blending tools and the transitions between colors are much smoother. This type of background could be used in so many ways, including under the black cut-out overlay shown in the previous photo. Different colors, different overlays . . . the possibilities are too numerous to even count. And the blending is quicker and easier than ever. Fun stuff!
