Since the official start to summer is just around the corner, I thought I'd pull out the new Doodlebug design Sweet Summer collection to create a few bright, sunny cards. I was inspired by sketch #1 from June's Card Sketch Challenge. Instead of a slanted banner, as suggested in the sketch, I created a stack of 'photos' that I set at an angle. I wanted the top one to look like it was coming to life, so I added dimension to the icon stickers and let a few sit slightly outside the frame. I used sandpaper for my beach and also added a tiny piece to the pail.
