This is for the ugly paper challenge aka Ugly Games.
My papers are the unicorn and the border around the photo on the right- it's eyes but has been toned down with paint and Heidi Swapp mists.
I cut the Birthday with a CTMH die on my Cuttlebug. The 4th is stamped using 2 CTMH stamp sets.
The journaling reads:
"I don’t have much of a memory of my 4th birthday & if it wasn’t for the photos, wouldn’t know that is where that awesome dump truck came from. I may be wearing a dress in the photo, but I was a tomboy and overall did not like dresses since I got yelled out for climbing trees and playing in the dirt while wearing them. I spent many hours playing with that dump truck on my “hill” out in the back yard. The hill was just dirt from where my dad had to dig under the house to put in a sump pump. I claimed that pile of dirt thru the time I left for college (as a teen I grew geraniums on it). I had cars, trucks, etc. that did their tour on (or sometimes lost in) that little hill. I made roads, little caves, established a quarry, and had many adventures there. Obviously, I also got a large set of blocks. I don’t think I built that tower, but ‘helped’ my dad do it. Still- I do remember playing with all those blocks for many years. I had a vivid imagination that I try desperately now to tap back into."
