Newspaper articles about my Daddy's work with Eastern Air Lines. He worked for Eastern from 1947 until 1982. The newspaper articles I've had forever and they were very yellowed and brittle, so I scanned them into Photoshop Elements and cleaned them up a bit. I found all the Eastern Airlines logos and photos on the internet and printed them on photo paper and cut them out with the Cameo. No real journaling on this one, just documenting his work history. I made the black striped borders in the Silhouette program and adhered 1/2 inch strips around the edges of the white background. Thinking it just needed something else to make it pop, I added 1/8 inch strips of black card stock around the inside edge of the black stripe and one row of faux stitching inside of that. The title work and most of the embellies are popped up with foam tape for added dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
